Canada's Underlying Productivity Gaps and Capital Outflow
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the committee resumed its study of Canada's underlying productivity gaps and capital outflow.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Improving productivity in Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the committee request that the government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $18,150, for the study of Opportunities, Risks, and Regulation of AI in Canada’s Strategic Industries, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $16,900, for the study of the Federal Government's Electric Vehicle (EV) Policies, be adopted.

Defence Industrial Strategy
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, September 22, 2025, the committee resumed its study of a defence industrial strategy.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:02 p.m., the meeting was suspended.

At 5:12 p.m., the meeting resumed.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

At 5:33 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
