Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of systemic racism and religious discrimination.

Pouyan Tabasinejad and Soudeh Ghasemi made statements and answered questions.

At 4:41 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:47 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Larry Rousseau, Cindy Blackstock made statements and, with Elizabeth Kwan, answered questions.

At 5:30 p.m., by unanimous consent and pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

At 5:31 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:32 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

It was agreed, — That the proposed revised budget in the amount of $ 69,000, for the study of systemic racism and religious discrimination, be adopted.

At 5:39 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
