Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Monday, December 5, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-311, An Act to amend the Holidays Act (Remembrance Day).

Wilma McNeill, Dave Geddes, by teleconference from Kingston, Nova Scotia and John FitzGerald, by videoconference from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, made statements and answered questions.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:38 p.m., the sitting resumed.

On motion of Michel Picard, it was agreed, — That clause-by-clause consideration take place on Tuesday, March 7, 2017.

At 4:55 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
