Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the media and local communities.

At 11:17 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:10 p.m., the sitting resumed.

At 12:10 p.m., Hon. Hedy Fry took the Chair.

It was agreed, — That the Committee continue to sit until 1:30 p.m.

Bert Crowfoot, Ken Waddell, Casey Lessard and Mark Lever, by videoconference from Halifax, Nova Scotia, made statements and, with Bruce Valpy by videoconference from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, answered questions.

At 1:08 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:09 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Kevin Chan made a statement and, with Marc Dinsdale, answered questions.

At 1:43 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
