Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Wednesday, February 20, 2019, the Committee commenced consideration of Bill C-91, An Act respecting Indigenous languages.

Pursuant to Standing Order 75(1), consideration of Clause 1, Short Title, was postponed.

The Chair called Clause 2.

Blaire Gould and Onowa McIvor, by videoconference from Victoria, British Columbia, made statements and answered questions.

At 4:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:22 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Edward John and Graham Andrews made statements and answered questions.

At 5:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
