Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the media and local communities.

Monica Auer, Al MacKay, Dwayne Winseck, and François Demers, by videoconference from Québec, Québec made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in camera.

At 10:32 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:35 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That in relation to the Committee’s study on the media and local communities, the proposed budget in the amount of $36,700, be adopted.

At 10:57 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
