Meeting No. 34

Tuesday, January 29, 2002

The Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage met in camera at 9:10 a.m. this day, in Room 701, La Promenade Building, the Chair, Clifford Lincoln, presiding.

Members of the Committee present: Jim Abbott, Sarmite Bulte, Rodger Cuzner, Claude Duplain, Christiane Gagnon, Roger Gallaway, Betty Hinton, Wendy Lill, Clifford Lincoln, Grant McNally and Tony Tirabassi.

In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Joseph Jackson and Terrence Thomas, Research Officers; Alan Cofman, Intern.  Consultant:  David Black.  Expert Advisors: Marc Raboy and David Taras via videoconference from Calgary.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee proceeded to a discussion of future business.

At 10:08 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:12 a.m., the Committee proceeded to sit in public.

David Taras participated via videoconference from Calgary.

At 11:45 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
