M-516 Blood and organ donations

That, in the opinion of the House, the government should take immediate measures to end the current discriminatory policy governing blood and organ donations from men who have sex with men, and that Canadian Blood Services, Hema-Quebec, and Health Canada replace the current policy with a science-based policy that protects the integrity of the Canadian blood supply while treating all potential donors with equal dignity and respect.
