The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Second Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:

  1. That the committee start bill C-224 on Tuesday, February, 16, 2021 and invite the Canada Revenue Agency and other Finance officials, along with Mr. Gabriel Ste-Maire as witness;
  2. That the committee start its study on the Covid-19 expenses on Thursday, February 18, 2021 and invite government officials;
  3. That additional witnesses be invited for bill C-224 on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 and the list of witnesses be sent to the Clerk by Friday, February 19, 2021;
  4. That additional witnesses be invited for the Covid-19 expenses study on Thursday, February 25, 2021 and the list of witnesses be sent to the Clerk by Friday, February 19, 2021;
  5. That the committee sit twice on the week of March 1 to 5, 2021 in the following manner:
    1. The first meeting of the week be dedicated to the clause by clause study of Bill C-224 and, if time permits, witnesses be invited for the second hour on the study of Bill C-208 and
    2. The Law Clerk be invited to appear in regards to the Government Spending, WE Charity, and the Canada Student Service Grant study.
Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the committee resumed its study of the pre-budget consultations 2021.

The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Investing in Tomorrow: Canadian Priorities for Economic Growth and Recovery".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 12:09 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
