Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the Second Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in as amended:
- That the committee start bill C-224 on Tuesday, February, 16, 2021 and invite the Canada Revenue Agency and other Finance officials, along with Mr. Gabriel Ste-Maire as witness;
- That the committee start its study on the Covid-19 expenses on Thursday, February 18, 2021 and invite government officials;
- That additional witnesses be invited for bill C-224 on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 and the list of witnesses be sent to the Clerk by Friday, February 19, 2021;
- That additional witnesses be invited for the Covid-19 expenses study on Thursday, February 25, 2021 and the list of witnesses be sent to the Clerk by Friday, February 19, 2021;
- That the committee sit twice on the week of March 1 to 5, 2021 in the following manner:
- The first meeting of the week be dedicated to the clause by clause study of Bill C-224 and, if time permits, witnesses be invited for the second hour on the study of Bill C-208 and
- The Law Clerk be invited to appear in regards to the Government Spending, WE Charity, and the Canada Student Service Grant study.
The committee resumed consideration of a draft report.
It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.
It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Investing in Tomorrow: Canadian Priorities for Economic Growth and Recovery".
It was agreed, — That the Chair, clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.
ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.
