Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, December 6, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of international best practices for engaging with indigenous communities regarding major energy projects.

Ellis Ross, by videoconference from Victoria, British Columbia, Nils Andreassen, by videoconference from Juneau, Alaska, and Grant Sullivan made statements and answered questions.

At 4:59 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:04 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, June 14, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of economic opportunities for energy efficiency in Canada.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a report.
The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee make the necessary arrangements for an informal meeting on Thursday, May 2, 2019, with the German-Canadian Parliamentary Friendship Group.

At 5:13 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
