Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act.

Luc Bégin made a statement and, with Carole Ferlatte, answered questions.

Motion

Kelly McCauley moved, — That the Committee immediately undertake a study of the Government’s proposed acquisition of eighteen (18) Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets; and that the Committee report its findings to the House of Commons no later than Thursday, April 13, 2017.

Debate arose thereon.

Motion

Nick Whalen moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 3.

At 9:44 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:45 a.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee resumed its study of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act.

Allan Cutler, David Hutton and David Yazbeck made statements and answered questions.

At 10:47 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
