Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 2, 2017, the Committee commenced its study of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act.

Carl Trottier made a statement and, with Mary Anne Stevens, answered questions.

Kelly McCauley gave oral notice of the following motion:

That the Committee immediately undertake a study of the Government’s proposed acquisition of eighteen (18) Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets; and that the Committee report its findings to the House of Commons no later than Thursday, April 13, 2017.

At 10:20 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:23 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 9, 300 for the study of the Public Servants Disclosure Protection Act, be adopted.

At 10:36 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
