Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, the Committee resumed its study of the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence and algorithms.

Marc-Antoine Dilhac, by videoconference from Montreal, Quebec, and Christian Sandvig, by videoconference from Ann Arbor, Michigan, made statements and answered questions.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:37 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
