The Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration met at 10:10 a.m. this day, in the Pinnacle Ballroom 3, Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle, Vancouver, British Columbia, the Chair, Andrew Telegdi, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Diane Ablonczy, Hon. David A. Anderson, Colleen Beaumier, Inky Mark, Bill Siksay, Hon. Andrew Telegdi and Lui Temelkovski.

 

Associate Members present: Nina Grewal.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: Benjamin Dolin, Analyst.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, October 27, 2004, the Committee resumed its study of Family Reunification Issues.

Lawrence Wong, Tami Friesen, Gian Dhesi and June Francis made statements and, with Alison Brewin and Eyob Naizghi answered questions.

 

At 11:17 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:25 a.m., the sitting resumed.
