The Standing Committee on Agriculture and Agri-Food met at 9:00 a.m. this day, in the Parkland Recreation Complex Banquet Room, Dauphin, Manitoba, the Chair, Paul Steckle, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: James Bezan, Paul Steckle and Rose-Marie Ur.

 

Acting Members present: André Bellavance for Denise Poirier-Rivard and Inky Mark for Gerry Ritz.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on June 16, 2005, the Committee commenced its study of Riding Mountain National Park Bovine tuberculosis monitoring and eradication programs.
 

Calvin Pawluk, John Whitaker, Paul Paquet and Ryan K. Brook made statements and answered questions.

 

At 10:30 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:45 a.m., the sitting resumed.

 

Greg Fenton, Philip H. Amundson and Allan Preston made statements and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 12:15 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 1:15 p.m., the sitting resumed.
