Meeting No. 4

Tuesday, February 25, 2003

The Subcommittee on National Security of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights met at 3:30 p.m. this day, in Room 112-N, Centre Block, the Chair, Derek Lee, presiding.

Members of the Subcommittee present: Robert Lanctôt, Derek Lee, David Pratt, Kevin Sorenson and Vic Toews.

In attendance: From the Parliamentary Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Philip Rosen, Principal.

Witnesses: From the Privy Council Office: Ronald Bilodeau, Associate Secretary to the Cabinet, Deputy Minister to the Deputy Prime Minister, and Security and Intelligence Coordinator; Larry Dickerson, Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet Security and Intelligence Secretariat.

Pursuant to a motion of the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights adopted on Wednesday, November 6, 2002, consideration of National Security Coordination.

Ronald Bilodeau made an opening statement and, with the other witness, answered questions.

At 5:05 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
