The Standing Committee on Finance met in a televised session at 9:34 a.m. this day, in Room 253-D Centre Block, the Chair, Sue Barnes, presiding.

 

Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, Rick Casson, Roy Cullen, Nick Discepola, Maria Minna, Shawn Murphy, Pierre Paquette, Pauline Picard, Gary Pillitteri, Tony Valeri, Judy Wasylycia-Leis and Bryon Wilfert.

 

In attendance: Library of Parliament: June Dewetering, Principal.

Pursuant to Standing Order 83(1), the Committee resumed its pre-budget consultations.
 

Panel I: Danielle Shaw-Buchholz, Mildred Jarvis, Ellen Russell, Margaret Fietz, Diane Bascombe, Suzanne Sabourin, Glen Tully and Jean-Yves Lord made a statement and, with the other witnesses, answered questions.

 

At 11:04 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:07 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 11:17 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:42 a.m., the sitting resumed.
