Meeting No. 7
Wednesday, October 17, 2001
The Special Committee on non-medical use of drugs met in camera at 3:44 p.m. this day, in Room 269, West Block, the Chair, Paddy Torsney, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Libby Davies, Dominic LeBlanc, Derek Lee, Stephen Owen, Paddy Torsney, Randy White.
Acting Members present: Gérard Binet for Jacques Saada; Kevin Sorenson for Carol Skelton; Benoit Sauvageau for Réal Ménard.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Marilyn Pilon, researcher.
The Committee proceeded to consider a draft budget for its activities.
It was agreed, - That the Clerk be instructed to revise the draft budget in respect to the changes requested and, that the revised budget be adopted as the budget for the Special Committee and be submitted to the Board of Internal Economy for approval as soon as possible.
At 4:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
