The Standing Committee on Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development met at 11:09 a.m. this day, in Room 536, Wellington Building, the Chair, Guy St-Julien, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: Sue Barnes, John Bryden, John Finlay, Nancy Karetak-Lindell, Gerald Keddy, Derrek Konrad, Robert D. Nault, Guy St-Julien and Bryon Wilfert.
Acting Member present: John Reynolds for Mike Scott.
In attendance: From the Library of Parliament: Jill Wherrett, Research Officer.
Witnesses: From the Musqueam Park Residents Association: Kerry-Lynne Findlay, Spokesperson; Grace Ng, Member; Kathy Scheideman, Member; David Abbott, Member.
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the Committee continued its review of the administration of Leases under the Indian Act. (See Minutes of Proceedings dated Wednesday, March 10, 1999, Meeting No. 53)
The witnesses made opening statements and answered questions.
At 1:15 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
