Pursuant to the order of reference of Wednesday, February 8, 2023, the committee commenced consideration of Bill C-293, An Act respecting pandemic prevention and preparedness.

The witness made a statement and answered questions.

At 12:06 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:12 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the usual practice of the committee concerning access to documents, Ziad Aboultaif be added to the committee’s distribution list and be granted access to the committee’s digital binders until there is a membership change that renders this measure unnecessary.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Bill C-293, An Act respecting pandemic prevention and preparedness, members submit requested witnesses to the clerk no later than Friday, April 28, 2023.

ORDERED, — That the analysts prepare a work plan in relation to the study of Bill C-293, An Act respecting pandemic prevention and preparedness.
