Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, November 2, 2017, the Committee resumed its study of the use of Indigenous languages in proceedings of the House of Commons.

Stéphan Déry made a statement and, with Matthew Ball, answered questions.

At 12:03 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:07 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Jérémie Séror, Johanne Lacasse and Melissa Saganash made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to give drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.

At 1:04 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
