Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c)(vii) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the estimates process.

Stephenie Fox made a statement and, with Martha Denning, answered questions.

At 4:29 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:31 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Michael Ferguson made a statement and, with Richard Dominigue, answered questions.

At 5:17 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:20 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Shared Services Canada, the Committee travel to Ottawa, Ontario, and to Gatineau, Quebec in the Fall of 2016, that the necessary staff accompany the Committee, and that required security clearances be requested on behalf of the Committee members, Ms. Brenda Shanahan, MP, the Library of Parliament analysts assigned to the Committee, and the Clerk of the Committee.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Shared Services Canada, the Committee invite Benoit Long, Corinne Charette, Maurice Chénier, Joseph Potvin, Chris Molinski, and representatives of PWC, Information Technology Association of Canada, and the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada to appear as witnesses before the Committee.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of Canada Post, the Committee meet in camera on Thursday, May 19, 2016, to consider a plan of study.

At 5:36 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
