Deepak Chopra made a statement and, with Jacques Côté and Susan Margles, answered questions.

At 4:35 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:39 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Christine Donoghue, Wilma Vreeswijk and Joe Friday made statements and answered questions.

At 5:27 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:30 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Committee invite the Hon. Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board, to appear before the Committee by June 21, 2016, to brief the Committee on proposed changes to government advertising rules.

It was agreed, — That the Committee consider the Supplementary Estimates (A) 2016-17 and that government officials be invited to appear as witnesses.

At 5:35 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
