Mr. Robichaud (Westmorland—Kent) sought leave to move the adjournment of the House under the provisions of Standing Order 29 to discuss the decision by Canadian National to sell its railway shops at Moncton: "Since this decision places in jeopardy the jobs of 1,022 workers of a Crown corporation in a region of extremely high unemployment, I feel it is of crucial importance that Members of Parliament be given the opportunity to debate this decision immediately."
