Statement of the Chair

The Chair made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:45 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:50 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of growing problem of car thefts in Canada, the proposed budget in the amount of $32,440.50, for the committee’s travel to Montréal, Québec, in the Winter 2024, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, October 23, 2023, the committee proceeded to a briefing on trauma-informed practices.

Claude Barraud made a statement and answered questions.
