Pursuant to the order of reference of Friday, November 25, 2022, the committee resumed consideration of Bill C-20, An Act establishing the Public Complaints and Review Commission and amending certain Acts and statutory instruments.

It was agreed, — That the proposed budget in the amount of $ 13,000.00, for the study of Bill C-20, An Act establishing the Public Complaints and Review Commission and amending certain Acts and statutory instruments, be adopted.

David Edward-Ooi Poon, Nadia Hasan, Fatema Abdalla and Hilda Anderson-Pyrz made statements and, with John McCall, answered questions.

At 4:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:02 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Christian Leuprecht, Zane Tessler and Greg Gudelot made statements and answered questions.

At 6:01 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
