The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Chair, in conjunction with the clerk and analysts, be authorized to set the agenda for upcoming committee meetings.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of outsourcing of contracts and its study of the diversity in procurement, representatives of the relevant departments be invited to appear on Monday, October 3, 2022, and Thursday, October 6, 2022, respectively.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of outsourcing of contracts and its study of the diversity in procurement, members be requested to submit their witness list, in priority order, to the clerk of the committee, by 12 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2022.

It was agreed, — That, in the context of its study of the National Shipbuilding Strategy, the Chair submit a preliminary travel proposal to the Subcommittee on Committee Budgets of the Liaison Committee for approval.

It was agreed, — That the clerk of the committee be authorized to grant access to the committee's digital binder to the offices of the whips of each recognized party.

At 11:43 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
