Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee commenced its study of subject matter of Main Estimates 2023-24: Vote 1 under Administrative Tribunals Support Service of Canada, Vote 1 under Canadian Human Rights Commission, Vote 1 under Courts Administration Service, Votes 1 and 5 under Department of Justice, Vote 1 under Law Commission of Canada, Votes 1 and 5 under Office of the Commissioner for Federal Judicial Affairs, Vote 1 under Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and Vote 1 under Registrar of the Supreme Court of Canada.

The Minister made a statement and answered questions.

At 4:21 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:45 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Questioning of the Minister resumed.

At 4:46 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
