Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, the committee resumed its study of Canada's health workforce.

Geraldine Vance, Michael Villeneuve, Gail Tomblin Murphy, David Pichora, and Adam Kassam made statements and answered questions.

At 4:54 p.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the committee continue to sit.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

On motion of Adam van Koeverden, it was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee invites the Minister of Health, the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health, as well as officials, to appear for two hours regarding the 2021-2022 Supplementary Estimates (C), the 2022-2023 Main Estimates, and the 2022-2023 Departmental Plans for the Department of Health, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, and the Public Health Agency of Canada and that the meeting take place on Monday, March 21, 2022.
