Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, the committee resumed its study of mental health of young women and girls.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the mental health of young women and girls, the committee accept briefs until Tuesday, November 1, 2022.

Owen Charters, Krystal-Jyl Thomas and Gordon Matchett made statements and, with Michelle Jackson-Brown, answered questions.

At 4:47 p.m., Sonia Sidhu took the Chair.

Questioning of the witnesses resumed.

At 4:50 p.m., Karen Vecchio took the Chair.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to the study of the mental health of young women and girls, the committee invite the Minister for Women and Gender Equality and the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions to appear for one hour each.

At 5:28 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
