Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(h) and the motion adopted by the committee on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the use of social media platforms for data harvesting and unethical or illicit sharing of personal information with foreign entities.

By unanimous consent, it was agreed, — That the committee commence the meeting to receive evidence and continue to sit during bells, pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), but that no motions may be moved and no votes may be held until after the vote in the House is duly completed.

At 3:47 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:14 p.m., the sitting resumed.
