Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motions adopted by the committee on Monday, January 31, 2022, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, and on Monday, April 17, 2023, the committee resumed its study of environmental contribution of agriculture.

Parthi Muthukumarasamy, Frédéric Bissonnette, Daniel Winter and Ted McKinney made statements and, with Nancy Rheault, Stephen F. Pernal and Connie Hart, answered questions.

At 5:53 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:59 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

The committee proceeded to give additional drafting instructions to the analysts for a draft report.

Closure of the Olymel Processing Plant in Vallée-Jonction
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, April 24, 2023, the committee resumed its study of the closure of the Olymel processing plant in Vallée-Jonction.

The committee commenced consideration of a draft letter.

At 6:23 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
