Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), the committee commenced consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-15, An Act respecting the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

Brenda Gunn, Arnie Bellis and Thierry Rodon made statements and, with Heather Exner-Pirot, answered questions.

At 12:21 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 12:25 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Romeo Saganash, Sheryl Lightfoot and Lorraine Augustine made statements and answered questions.

It was agreed, — That the committee sit past 1:00 p.m. to complete rounds of questions with witnesses.

At 1:36 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
