Pursuant to the order of reference of Monday,October 26, 2020, the committee resumed its study of the emergency situation facing Canadians in light of the second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Paul Kurdyak, Lisa Watts, Saleem Spindari, Christine Grou and Isabelle Marleau made statements and answered questions.

At 2:09 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 2:16 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Andrew Gustafson, John Trainor, Charlotte Waddell, Jeff Latimer and Ron Gravel made statements and answered questions.

The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $3,000.00, for the study of patented medicine prices review board’s guidelines, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 8,500.00, for the study of the emergency situation facing Canadians in light of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, be adopted.

At 3:20 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
