Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2), and the motion adopted on Tuesday, April 27, 2021, the committee commenced consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-30, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on April 19, 2021 and other measures.

The Minister made a statement.

Nicholas Leswick, Andrew Masland, Evelyn Dancey, and Leah Anderson answered questions.

Committee Business
The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That members of the committee submit their prioritized witness lists for the study of Bill C-30 to the clerk of the committee by no later than noon on Thursday, May 13, 2021.

It was agreed, — That the Chair schedule a subcommittee meeting on Thursday, May 13, 2021 prior to the meeting of the Standing committee.

At 6:31 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
