Martin Champoux moved, — That all documents presented as part of the committee’s work be edited and proofread first by the Translation Bureau to ensure that all committee members can work equally effectively in the official language of their choice.

After debate, the question was put on the motion and it was agreed to.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the committee on Monday, December 7, 2020, the committee resumed consideration of the subject matter of Bill C-10, An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act and to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.

Monika Ille, Michael Geist and Solange Drouin made statements and, with Joel Fortune, answered questions.

At 2:02 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
