The committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to committee business.

It was agreed, — That, in relation to its study on Supports and Services to Veterans’ Caregivers and Families, the Committee invite the Minister of Veterans Affairs and departmental officials for the first hour on Wednesday, February 3 and the Veterans Ombudsman be invited for the second hour.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $1,875 for the study of Supports and Services to Veterans’ Caregivers and Families, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the Chair send a letter to Whole Foods to express concern regarding the policy for banning its employees from wearing poppies on their uniform.

At 5:44 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
