Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, October 4, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-22, An Act to establish the National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians and to make consequential amendments to certain Acts.

Stephanie Carvin made a statement and answered questions.

John Major, by videoconference from Calgary, Alberta, made a statement and, with Stephanie Carvin, answered questions.

At 4:32 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:36 p.m., the sitting resumed.

Ian McPhail and Jean-Pierre Plouffe made statements and, with Richard Evans and J. William Galbraith, answered questions.

At 5:33 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
