Pursuant to Standing Order 107(1), the Subcommittee resumed its study on budget submissions.

It was agreed, — That Standing Committee on Citizenship and Immigration be granted a travel budget of $28,096.90 to travel to Sydney, Nova Scotia, and Mississauga, Ontario, in the Winter-Spring of 2017, in relation to its study on Modernization of Client Service Delivery.

It was agreed, — That the Standing Committee on Human Resources, Skills and Social Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities be granted a supplementary travel budget of $45,030.20 to travel to Kuujjuaq, Quebec, Saint John, New Brunswick, Toronto, Ontario, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Medicine Hat, Alberta, and Vancouver, British Columbia, in the Winter of 2017, in relation to its study on Poverty Reduction Strategies.

It was agreed, — That, notwithstanding the motion adopted by the Subcommittee on the Standing Committee on November 17, 2016, the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development be granted a travel budget of $168,473.25 to travel to Kiev, Ukraine, Astana, Kazakhstan, Riga, Latvia, and Warsaw, Poland, in the Winter-Spring of 2017, in relation to its study of the Situation in Eastern Europe and Central Asia 25 Years after the End of the Cold War.

It was agreed, — That the Subcommittee approve in principle the travel budget of the Standing Committee on National Defence in the amount of $65,050.11 for its travel to Washington, D.C., United States of America, in the Winter-Spring of 2017, in relation to its study on Canada and the Defence of North America, i.e. provided that the Liaison Committee approve this request; and that the Subcommittee report this recommendation to the Committee.
