Review of Standing Orders, procedure and practice of the House
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a)(iii), the Committee resumed its review of the Standing Orders, procedure and practice in the House and its committees.

It was agreed, — That the Committee defer its consideration of Standing Order 28(3) and possible modification in respect of the meeting time of the House of Commons in an emergency situation.

On motion of David Christopherson, it was agreed, — That the Committee proceed to sit in camera.

At 11:16 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 11:17 a.m., the sitting resumed in camera.

Initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons
Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(a) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, January 28, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of initiatives toward a family-friendly House of Commons.

The Committee proceeded to give drafting instructions to the analyst for a report.

At 12:08 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
