The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the Fifth Report from the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, which read as follows, be concurred in:

Your Subcommittee met on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, to consider the business of the Committee and agreed to make the following recommendations:

That, the Chair sends a letter to the Deputy Minister of the Department of Finance Canada acknowledging the appearance of his Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) at the meeting of Thursday, September 29th, 2016 but requesting that any questions his ADM won’t be able to answer be answered promptly by him.

That, the Chair be authorized to share the content of the letter from the President of the Treasury Board, received on Monday, September 19, 2016, with the Office of the Auditor general of Canada as well as the Parliamentary Budget Officer.

That, pertaining to the draft report in relation to the study of Chapter 6, Canada Pension Plan Disability Program, of the Fall 2015 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, the dates of September 1st, 2016 be changed to December 1st, 2016.

That, an email be sent to Philippe Rabot after the tabling of the Committee’s Report on Chapter 6, Canada Pension Plan Disability Program, of the Fall 2015 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada.

That, the Clerk of the Committee make necessary arrangements to prepare the Committee's proposed travel (5 members plus necessary staff) to the United Kingdom in December 2016 for consideration by the Committee.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 25, 2016, the Committee resumed consideration of Chapter 6, Canada Pension Plan Disability Program, of the Fall 2015 Report of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, February 2, 2016.

The Committee resumed consideration of a draft report.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Report 6, Canada Pension Plan Disability Program, of the Fall 2015 Reports of the Auditor General Of Canada".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

It was agreed, — That the analysts and the Clerk, in consultation with the Chair, prepare a news release for publication on the Committee’s website and for distribution upon presentation of the report to the House.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(g), the Committee resumed consideration of the Report 5, Canadian Army Reserve—National Defence, of the Spring 2016 Reports of the Auditor General of Canada, referred to the Committee on Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 5:12 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
