Pursuant to Standing Order 108(3)(c) and the motions adopted by the Committee on Thursday, May 5, 2016, and Thursday, June 16, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of Canada Post.

Simon Tremblay-Pepin and Stéphane Ricoul made statements and answered questions.

At 9:25 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:30 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Lionel Perez, Marc Demers, Sylvain Lapointe and Alain Duguay made statements and answered questions.

At 10:31 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 10:38 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Motion

Nick Whalen moved, — That, notwithstanding any routine motion, during meetings of the Committee outside of Ottawa on the subject of Canada Post, the Chair shall not entertain any substantive motion.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 0.

Carmela Hutchison, Richard Lavigne, Ruth Keathly Pelletier, Andrew DeFour and Hicham Ratnani made statements and answered questions.

At 11:37 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
