The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That the members of the Committee submit to the Clerk no later than June 13, 2016, a list of potential witnesses for the study of immigration to Francophone minority communities that the Committee will undertake in the fall of 2016.

It was agreed, — That six (6) meetings of two (2) hours be devoted to the study on immigration.

It was agreed, — That representatives of Air Canada be invited to appear on Monday, June 13, 2016, to discuss the content of the special report of the Commissioner of Official Languages on Air Canada.

It was agreed, — That the Committee meet on June 15 to discuss the list of potential witnesses that will have been proposed by the members of the Committee for the study of immigration to Francophone minority communities that will be undertaken in September 2016.

It was agreed, — That a budget for this study be adopted to enable the Committee to reimburse the travel and other expenses of the witnesses who come from outside the National Capital Region.

At 3:57 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
