Pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, June 20, 2017, the Committee resumed consideration of Bill C-17, An Act to amend the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Act and to make a consequential amendment to another Act.

The Chair called Clause 1.

The witnesses answered questions.

The Committee commenced its clause-by-clause study of the Bill.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) the Committee undertake a study on the response and long-term impacts of this summer's wildfire on first nations communities, as well as emergency management and fire safety in reserve communities; that this study be comprised of no less than four meetings and the committee report its findings to the House.

At 12:02 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
