National Chief Perry Bellegarde made a statement and answered questions.
At 5:01 p.m., the sitting was suspended.
At 5:06 p.m., the sitting resumed in camera.
It was agreed, — That the following ministers be invited to appear, at their earliest convenience, to discuss their ministerial mandate letters as they relate to the Committee: the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs, the Minister of Health, the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Natural Resources, and the Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
It was agreed, — That the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs be invited to appear before the Committee regarding the Supplementary Estimates (C) 2015-16, at her earliest convenience; and that she be invited back before the Committee to discuss the Main Estimates 2016-17 at a later date.
At 5:25 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
