Minutes of Proceedings
It was agreed, — That the work plan in relation to the Committee's study of suicide among Indigenous peoples and communities be adopted in principle and that members submit their lists of additional witnesses by June 15, 2016.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair and analysts, prepare a draft budget respecting the Committee’s proposed travel in relation to its study of suicide among Indigenous peoples and communities, for consideration by the Committee.
It was agreed, — That the Clerk of the Committee, in consultation with the Chair and the analysts, prepare a draft budget for the Committee's study of suicide among Indigenous peoples and communities, for consideration by the Committee.
It was agreed, — That, pursuant to the Order of Reference of Tuesday, May 10, 2016, the Committee consider the Supplementary Estimates (A) 2016-17; and that, in relation to this study, the Committee invite the Minister of Indigenous and Northern Affairs for two hours on June 16, 2016 and Cindy Blackstock for one hour on June 14, 2016, subject to their availability.
At 4:12 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
