Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Thursday, February 1, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of community capacity building and retention of talent.

Norm Odjick, Lorne Craig Keeper, Shirley Fontaine and Donald Shackel made statements and answered questions.

At 9:48 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:51 a.m., the sitting resumed.

At 10:06 a.m., pursuant to Standing Order 115(5), it was agreed that the Committee continue to sit.

Kelly Shopland, by videoconference from Courtenay, British Columbia, Keith Matthew and Daniel Millette made statements.

At 10:19 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
