Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, September 24, 2018, the Committee resumed its study of Northern infrastructure projects and strategies.

Michael Spence, Merven Gruben and Jackie Jacobson made statements and answered questions.

At 4:28 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 4:34 p.m., the sitting resumed.

The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

Motion

Arnold Viersen moved, — That senior officials from Indigenous Services Canada as well as Employment and Social Development Canada be invited to appear at Committee on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 in relation to the Committee's study of the 2018 Spring Reports of the Auditor General and that the meeting be televised.

Debate arose thereon.

Motion

T.J. Harvey moved, — That the debate be now adjourned.

The question was put on the motion and it was agreed to, by a show of hands: YEAS: 5; NAYS: 4.
