The Committee proceeded to the consideration of matters related to Committee business.

It was agreed, — That a proposed budget in the amount of $ 32,300, for the study of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, be adopted.

Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the impact of recent changes to Employment Insurance and of access to the Program.

The Committee commenced consideration of a draft report.

At 4:59 p.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 5:10 p.m., the sitting resumed.

It was agreed, — That the draft report, as amended, be adopted.

It was agreed, — That the report be entitled: "Exploring the Impact of Recent Changes to Employment Insurance and Ways to Improve Access to the Program".

It was agreed, — That the Chair, Clerk and analysts be authorized to make such grammatical and editorial changes as may be necessary without changing the substance of the report.

It was agreed, — That dissenting and/or supplementary opinions be in Arial 12 point font, single line spaced and be submitted electronically, in both official languages, to the Clerk of the Committee, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016.

It was agreed, — That, pursuant to Standing Order 109, the Committee request that the Government table a comprehensive response to the report.

ORDERED, — That the Chair present the report to the House.

At 5:30 p.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
