Pursuant to Standing Order 108(2) and the motion adopted by the Committee on Monday, December 12, 2016, the Committee resumed its study of the Oceans Act’s marine protected areas.

Dan Laffoley, by videoconference from Peterborough, United Kingdom, and Daniel Pauly made statements and answered questions.

At 9:46 a.m., the sitting was suspended.

At 9:48 a.m., the sitting resumed.

Alan Martin, by videoconference from Victoria, British Columbia, and Michel Richard made statements and answered questions.

At 10:45 a.m., the Committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
